Our family has deep ties to Sandusky, having spent over 20 years enjoying the beauty of this area. We recognized the need for a lodging experience that blends luxury and local charm, which is why we took on the immense task of restoring The Washington. Preserving the integrity of the original 1890s architecture, we carefully revived this historic home while adding modern comforts to create a space that celebrates the past, serves the present, and supports the community. We’re honored to offer a place that families, travelers, and locals can enjoy for generations to come.
